3/24/2005Raman Noodles
I've been revisiting my undergraduate days lately, and eating Ramen noodles for lunch. Problem is, Ramen noodles are boring. I'm not a boring person.
So I kick my Ramen up a notch or two. Here's a great recipe for Ramen that I just might send to the Carnival of Recipes this week. Kicked Up Jerky Ramen Ingredients: 1 package Chicken-flavored Ramen noodles 2 tblspn Carribean Jerk Seasoning (I sometimes use more, it all depends) Boil 2 cups of water. Add noodle mix. Slowly add seasoning as noodles boil -- only add 1 tblspn before you add the chicken seasoning. After three minutes (may vary, depending on how al dente you like your Ramen), turn off the heat. Add chicken seasoning packet and the rest of the jerk seasoning. Stir and eat. ---------------- There. You can now say you learned something useful here. Tomorrow, maybe I'll share my recipe for Chili Pepper Beef Ramen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
